- Trouble Using High-Speed
- Posted by skcocsihm on March 15th, 2008
We just installed a wireless network connection on Windows XP Home edition
and left sympatico dial up. So far all computers, but my mom's are able to
browse the internet. On my mom's computer, it picks up the connection and is
apparently connected. But when I open the internet, my mom's old sympatico
ISP connection pops up and the computer won't use the new high-speed
connection. I've tried working offline, undoing the dial-up connection as the
default connection, and going into internet options and saying only dial if a
network connection is not available, but nothing works. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks,

And with my high speed internet connection...use the LAN setting
as well.
