- Twain.dll 32 bit clients Thunking server ?

I keep getting this when I try to scan. How can I fix this?

If the scanner is making a "thunking" sound, the scanning head is locked in
the "transport" position. You need to un-lock it before trying to scan.

I was referring to a Windows XP error " Twain.dll 32 bit clients Thunking
server"
