unhide icon in systemtray
Posted by rob.tijssen@gmail.com on December 17th, 2007

Hello,

I'd like to see an icon in the systemtray area which is hidden at this
moment.

the systemtray setting at this moment is that it will autohide all
icons which are not in use and/or active (autoclean option).
With this option on (to avoid clutter) I still want to set a certain
icon to be visible alle the time by setting a register setting.
Not via the autoclean settings of the systemtray.

thanks in advance.

Rob

Hi ,

Not sure what you mean by not via the autoclean settings of the systemtray.
Are you referring to that as the Customize Notifications? When you choose
Customize you can set any app to Hide when inactive, Always hide and Always
show. Without digging through the Registry to find the change, I'm sure
that's where the setting gets set when you make a change in Customize
Notifications, so why not use that?

Right Click on Start Goto properties
On Taskbar tab besides "Hide inactive icons" Click on customize
From The List select the appropriate program
Cange its behaviour to "Always Show"
