- unwanted photos in media player
- Posted by Tonya S on April 10th, 2006
I went to my windows media player yesterday and there were over 5,000 images
in a pictures folder on there that I did NOT add! They were photos from all
the programs on my computer plus the photo files from the My Pictures folder.
When I started deleting them, they deleted into the recycle bin then I
emptied that thinking they were just copies. Went to My pictures and it
deleted them from there!
How did they get into the Media Player and how do I get them out with out
deleting them off of my computer?

You turned on Picture Support (it's off by default).
Tools > Options > Player[tab] > [ ] Enable picture support for devices.
