usb disk for backup
Posted by Jessie the flower of Dunblane on April 15th, 2006

Hi All,
Would I be better buying a usb automatic backup system with my new usb2.0
disk or should i buy a usb 2.0 disk and get a program like Acronis to do a
image of the hard drive on my p.c. as i would like to be able to restore to a
new hard disk if the one in the desktop fails.
I can get updates with the abs system is this also possible with the image?

Any help will be appreciated
Jes

Buy Acronis True Image. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely right!
The most convenient way to back up Hard Disk is purchase external USB
HDD and 'Acronis True Image'
(http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing...ts/trueimage/). You can
easily create an exact Hard Disk image, keep it on your external USB
disk and restore at any time. If you want either to return to the
previous state, or restore to a new hard disk.
