- Vista to support 64 bit?
- Posted by brandon dub on March 26th, 2006
Im buying a new PC, slowing custom buying hardware over the next few months
and Im building it with VISTA in mind.
I was wondering if anyone knew if VISTA will run in a 64bit environment? As
far as I know its just a 32 bit OS with a hungry memory bandwidth.
I was thinking Intel 775 dual core or AMD 64, not sure if it matters. Is
there a point to buying a 64bit CPU if your using a 32 bit OS?

Yes, some issues have been noted with the newsgroups and already reported to
Microsoft.
As for Vista, you should check the microsoft.public.windows.vista newsgroups
for better information about Vista.
