- win xp taskbar problem

I began to notice this problem several months ago. Ever since then, it
happens once in a while. Let me describe my problem. By the way, I have Win
XP home edition. On your desktop, there is a task bar. I have quick launch
turned on. When I sometimes turn on my computer, my task bar is completely
changed. I do see my usual quick launch icons and everything, but I see more
dividers that show up in my task bar. I have extra 1 to 3 dividers in my
task bars. I cannot get rid of them. The only successful solution so far
has been restoring the system to an earlier point. This problem will not go
away even after I restart my computer. It will stay there unless I do the
restoration. I have also tried reinstalling the entire system, but it came
back.
Anybody had similar problems?

Hi. Do you know why this is happening? Is it the Microsoft update? or
something else?

I restore my computer, so I don't know wether this program is fixing my
problem or not. I will have to wait and see until the next time.
I guess that's why I wanted to find out why this is happening.
