- Window can't load viaagp1
- Posted by Eddy on October 21st, 2005
Using WinXP pro, SP2.
In Computer management, I have noticed a number of entries in the System
section of the Event Viewer saying:
"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
viaagp1"
The source of the error is given as "Service Control Manager".
The driver file viaagp1 does not exist on the PC, so no surprise that
windows could not load it. The PC has a Intel chipset, ATI graphics card,
and no VIA based devices that I can see.
Anyone any idea what this means, and why Windows would be trying to load a
VIA driver?
Ed.
