Window size problem
Posted by Teriel9 on October 4th, 2005

Hi All,
When I click the box at the top right, near minimise the window size hardly
changes, making it difficult to drag an internet address to the desktop.
Can anyone please help
Thanks

Just right-click on the blue strip at the top of the screen and select
RESTORE. See what happens!!

The middle button should show only 1 window which means you are in the
"adjustable" state. It just sounds like your setting is very close to
the Maximum state (when the middle button shows one window below another).

If you see just one window in the middle button, move your mouse to the
edge of the window until it changes to pointers on both ends. While it
looks that way, click and drag the edge to your desired location. You
can do that to all 4 sides if you choose. Now when you toggle between
the middle button you should go from Maximum to your selected window
size. You can also toggle this by double clicking on the color title bar.

That's the "Restore" button. It should cause your program to shrink
from full-screen to something smaller. Exactly how much smaller is up
to the program to decide. Often it returns to the size it was before
it was maximized. Once the window is no longer maximized you should be
able to make it whatever size you want by dragging an edge or a
corner.
