Windows Explorer Problem: Clicking on "My Computer", then on "C" opens command prompt in C. Right click needed to open Windows GUI

Without knowing when this glitch appeared on my system now if I double left
click My Computer displays all my drives C to I and then left click on the
"C" icon a command prompt window opens. I have to right click on "C" and
then the Windows Explorer menu opens and I can select Open or Explore to
access the GUI

This is not a serious problem but an inconvenience and I would be grateful
if one of you XP Pro +SP2 knows how to fix it.

My version of Shell32.dll is 6.0.2900.2763 installed by Windows Update in
November 2005.

Hi,

You've somehow managed to change the default action. You can address this on
the file types tab of folder options, or you can run the automated fix here:
