- "Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory" with 2G of RAM???

I've got a 2GHz WinXP Pro SP2 IE7 desktop with 2G of RAM.
With 10 IE7 browser windows open, along with spider solitaire, I get a popup message
that says "Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory".
I take a look and I see that I have 1.5G of RAM available!
Why would Windows be increasing the size of my page file with soooooo much unused RAM?

Probably the OS is still set at its default settings, open system properties,
advanced,virtual memory,performance,change button,set to "let system
configure" click set 2X,close out.For in depth reading,read kb555223
