Windows xp activate
Posted by Xiaoping Yao on December 1st, 2005

Hi there:

I have a laptop which the windows stuck. I reinstalled (repaired) the
windows xp. Upon restart, it asked me if I want to activate now, I click
later. After the screen showed all users, I clicked one and I got the
message like: Before you can log on, you need to activate this window, do
you want to activate now? Clicked on yes, the computer logged me off and the
screen went back to show all the users. At this point, there is no way
(seems to me) to get to the point to activate the window.

Thank you in advance.

Time to give MS a call and a piece of your mind.

try booting up in safe mode.Should get you in. Anybody got a
workaround for WPA? Getting to be a drag.

Already answered in windowsxp.basics. And one more thing...you can't
activate in safe mode, despite what the others say.
