In Start menu Documants its not showing any recently opened files. but I
enebeled 'list my most recently oened documents' option in task bar and start
menu properties.
Pls help me.

It may be turned off by another security or privacy setting
by a third party utility program or it may have been done
using TweakUI or similar regedit program.

A recent update cleared the list.
Have you opened any new documents?

have a look at the troubleshooting section, it states that some documents
cannot be displayed from certain programs
