- XP's Prefetch Folder
- Posted by maria on October 30th, 2005
Does anyone know what the pumscm.exe file is in the prefetch folder. McAfee
keeps listing this as a file to be deleted or quarantened but is unable to.
What should I do?

Hi,
Go into the prefetch folder yourself and delete it. It is not a system file,
and is likely part of a virus or other unwanted malware.
