- Active Sync Automatic disconnect
- Posted by Clem Nichols via PocketPCJunkies.com on December 30th, 2004
Is there anything out there any more dependable than Active Sync with regards to transferring data from my desktop to my PDA? Active Sync is, without doubt, the most frustrating thing I've had to deal with computer-wise. It is slow to connect, and then when it does connect, it is slow to do anything at all. When it finally synchronizes (assuming that it does), and I try to transfer data, it has a tendency to automatically disconnect in the middle of whatever I'm doing. Surely someone out there knows of a better system. If so, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. (I have Version 3.7.1 which, if I'm correct is the latest version)

Hi,
Unfortunately there are no replacement applications for ActiveSync on the
PC.
As for the problems with ActiveSync, have you seen
http://www.cewindows.net/faqs/t-shootactivesync.htm ?
The Activesync Troubleshooting Guide may assist you with resolving some of
these problems.
