- ActiveSync 3.7 and two devices
- Posted by Eric Frere on August 19th, 2005
Hi,
I have an iPAQ 3870 running CE 3.0 and didn't have problems Syncing. I just
bought a Samsung SCH-i730 phone running Pocket PC 2003. I have them both
plugged into my PC with different mobile device ids.
After I installed the ActivSync 3.7, I can sync the Samsung. The minute I
remove the device from it's cradle and try to sync, it gives me a connection
error when the iPAQ is connected. Same problem with the iPAQ.
Looks like I can't have both devices in their cradle simultaneously. Is
this correct??
Ideas?

Hi,
You can sync both the i730 and the iPAQ with ActiveSync on the same PC.
However you can only sync one of them at a time. This is a known limitation
of ActiveSync.
