In the end I had sent my ASUS PDA to the ASUS Support Center in
Germany. The case number was RMA-Nummer: GH6C4238. After three weeks my
PDA came back and now it works correctly :-)
I don't know why it works now, but I don't care.

Ilium Software tech support has seen problems like this one-way syn
problem, and it may be caused by an issue in some versions o
ActiveSync 4.

The problem occurs when a file exists on your PDA before you turn o
Files in ActiveSync's sync options. ActiveSync loses track of the fil
and may do something such as delete it from the desktop, fail t
synchronize changes, etc.

We usually have users fix it by doing the following:

1) Copy the file somewhere onto your PC
2) Delete the file from your synchronized files folder on the PC
3) Delete the file from the My Documents folder on the Pocket PC
4) Press the Sync button in ActiveSync
5) Place the file back in the synchronized files folder on the desktop
6) Press the Sync button in ActiveSync again.

I'm not sure if this will fix the problem you're having, but i
wouldn't hurt to try it
