- Automatic sync via Bluetooth
- Posted by ClipperMiami@gmail.com on March 23rd, 2006
I've been able to setup ActiveSync to use Bluetooth between my iPaq
6315 and my Thinkpad T40 --- works fine.
But unlike the USB connection, sync is strictly manual. To sync over
Bluetooth requires me to enable Bluetooth on the iPaq (if not already
running) then go to the Bluetooth Manager and click on the shortcut for
ActiveSync. The sync will start assuming I've remembered to change the
ActiveSync connection "When cradeled" option from USB to Bluetooth.
Is there some way to just set it up so that it will automatically sync
any time the two devices detect each other in range? Having to remember
to change from cradle to Bluetooth and then go to the BT Manager and
click the AS shortcut and then undo all that when I'm in the office ---
is a pain in the backside.

Hi,
There is no support to sync automatically with Bluetooth.
