Disconnects before sync is complete
Posted by mcolson on April 23rd, 2008

I am trying to sync a pocket pc with a desktop via a wireless
network. I have checked the box for "When manually synchronizing,
disconnect when complete". Now that I have done this, they PocketPC
disconnects before the desktop is finished transferring files. I
would like for the two to disconnect upon a complete transfer, it just
seems the pocket pc is closing the connection to soon. Is there a way
to extend the time before it disconnects? How does the Pocket PC
verify the sync is complete? Can I tell it somehow to wait for an
acknowledgment from the desktop?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi,
Is the synchronization stable enought to complete on a regular basis?

Also, what version of ActiveSync are you using? Only ActiveSync 3.x
supported Wi-Fi sync of files to the desktop.
