i use activesync file syncing (along with email, contact, calendar etc)
between my laptop and ipaq 5550. this works well in that files i put into
the appropriate folder on the laptop will be synced into the iqaq's my
documents folder and vice versa.

the problem i have is that files i copy directly to the device's my
documents folder from the laptop (i.e. not using the sync folder and
activesync - eg using explorer or windows media player to copy mp3's) then
want to copy back to the laptop synced folder when i next perform a
synchronisation. this is a problem when it tries to copy 100MB worth of
music back from the device to the PC from where it just came.

is there any other solution apart from copying these mp3's to another folder
that is NOT in my documents on the device?
