We have a boss/secretary scenario where the secretary adds
appointments to the boss' calendar. The boss has a WM 6.0 PDA and
syncs it remotely via Exchange ActiveSync. Does anyone know please how
the boss can get a notification when a new appointment is added to her
calendar, in the same way a getting a notification when a new mail
arrives? Or even just a list of appointments added since the last
sync?

The boss doesn't want the secretary to send appointment invites by e-
mail; she really wants the secretary to manage their calendar and
create firm appointments.

Hi,
With EAS you will get the e-mail notice that asks you to accept the
appointment. Once you accept it, it is placed in the Calendar.

happening here.

The secretary is logging into Outlook as the boss (it's a long
story) ... so that'd be like asking to accept an appointment she's
created herself?

We just need a notification of new appointments placed by EAS, not
even the option to accept or reject them.

if she accepts it while his device is off, he will not be notified.
However the appointment will be in his calendar and visible on the home
screen.
