HTC TyTN II / Exchange / inbox will not sync, but subfolders do

After a sync accident I had to wipe my device and start again.

I've entered details of the exchange server in activesync on my mobile
device, and it sync's fine for everything except the email inbox!

All of the email subfolders are there and correct, contacts, calendar
and notes are all working, but inbox refuses to sync.

There are no errors.

Any advice from the experts?

Hi,
Did you try deleting the partnership and re-establishing it? Does this
occur for other users on the server?

I have the same problem with the same machines. I deleted and reinstalled the
partnership. Twice. The strangest is not even that notes, tasks and agenda
ARE synced, but when I add the folder "sent items", that one is ALSO synced.
Only the "normal" inbox can't be synced.

Also, my sysadmin noted no errors on the server.
