- Maximum number of Active sync users on Exchange 2003
- Posted by Chris Mason on April 4th, 2008
I have 4 palms and an SE phone all synchronising with our Exchange server.
Any attempt to use a new device or (6th id) always fail. I get http_403 on
the device and HTTP_409 in the event log. I have ruled out the devices as
they are working correctly.
We run a single server without SSL.
In another microsoft publication I have seen reference to a maximum number
of users. Does anyone know where this is configured?
Thanks.

Hi,
Is IIS configured to a limited set of users? Exchange ActiveSync uses IIS
for communication.
