I recently switched to a hosted Exchange server account and reconfigured my
x50v to synchronize with the server instead of Outlook on my PC.

Since then, I haven't been able to sync anything with my pc (files & notes).
Should I be able to sync files and notes with my PC while syncing email,
tasks, contacts and calendar with a server?

When I connect my device, Activesync starts, runs for a few seconds, then
just disconnects. I don't get any error messages, it just disconnects.

I'm running Activesync 4.0 build 4343 on Windows XP SP2, 512MB RAM. My x50v
is running WM2003SE with ROM A05. I run the Windows Firewall on my PC and
have tried disabling it with no effect. It was working fine until I changed
to the server sync.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi,
Exchange synchronization does not support notes or file synchronization.
This is why you can't sync files or notes. Also, tasks synchronization is
not supported until Exchange 2003 SP2 is installed.
