Recurring appointments with parenthesis indicating number of times
Posted by Mariana on February 11th, 2005

Hello,

I have Pocket PC 2003 with Outlook 2002. In calendar, every yearly
recurring all-day event appears normally, as typed for the first time. All
the other recurring entries of this same event appear followed by the number
of the entry in parenthesis. For example, today I write "B-day Anna". When
I look at Feb 11th 2006, it says B-day Anna (1).

How can I prevent Outlook from doing that? And remove the parenthesis that
already exist?

Any thoughts?

If you put in Anna's actual birth date, the number in the parentheses would
be her age.

Be careful that you get the correct starting date though...Otherwise you will in all probability be
in BIG trouble if your get Anna's age wrong...:-)

Kathleen,

Is there a way I can eliminate the parenthesis altogether? I don't want to
depend on knowing the year the person was born.
