- storage card
- Posted by Tom B. on April 8th, 2008
I am using Exchange 2003 SP2, and Windows Mobile 6. Active Sync works fine,
but I want to configure emails to be stored on the cell phone's storage card
memory, not the embedded memory of the phone (ATT 8525). I can not find out
where to config this. Can you help? Thanks. Active Sync 4.5 is in use
also, on a Windows XP Pro notebook

Not really. The Messaging app does not support storing e-mails on a storage
card- only attachments. Third-party e-mail programs can, but they don't
support Activesync e-mail- only POP and IMAP.
Sorry...

OK. But can you offer me any guidance on how to direct attachments to a
storage card. I can not see where that is setup either. Thanks!

Hi Tom,
Open Outlook Mobile then Menu -> Tools -> Options -> Storage and check the
option to store attachments on storage card.

In the Messaging app, Menu/Tools/Options/Storage(Tab) and tick the "Store
