- subset of contacts
- Posted by Greg Glaeser on August 10th, 2007
I have a few thousand contacts in Outlook and only want a couple hundred on
my phone. Is it possible to somehow specify a subset of contacts in Outlook
to be synced with the phone?
Windows XP SP2, Outlook 2003, Pocket PC, ActiveSync.
Best,
Christopher

You could move those that you *don't* want on the phone to a contacts
subfolder, which won't be synced, leaving those that you do want synced in
the root contacts folder (where those contacts all are right now, probably).

Easy enough. Thanks!

Hi Greg,
I would be interested in understanding how many thousand contacts are you
presently using and how often do you wish to synchronize (the subset) to
your mobile device.
