Synchronisation with Exchange Server - support code 800ffff

I recently have a HP iPAQ 6515 with Windows Mobile 5.0
There's a problem with my ActiveSync, more precisely the Exchange Server
part of it. The error message is:

Synchronisation could not be completed. Try again later.
Support Code:8000ffff

I searched for the support code in this forum but no result.
Help would be welcome!

Fyi: ActiveSync 4.1 using the craddle and USB-connection to my desktop PC.
