Unable to sync

My battery gave out on my Ipaq 3650. I have replace the battery and lost
everything. When I try to resync, ActiveSync 3.71 indicates that the device
is not there, not connected propertly or is not a Pocket_PC device.
I have tried both USB and serial connections. the Ipaq does chime when
plugged into the "get connected" wizard.

the Ipaq, had been reset using a hard reset. No change. The Partnership
window on PC ActiveSync doesn't even let the New Partnership Name window
come up.

Any recommendations?

connected and in the main window it says not connected
and no partneship. And the auto detect of Active sync
will not ask me to establish a partnership. Can someone
out there please help me and stuckpipe?

AMEN! I got this EXACT SAME leaky problem as well!!!
Device tries to connect, says its connected, BUT NO
PARTNERSHIP. First time sync also doesn't fire up the
wizard which was support to help establish the partnership.

Someone please get the THREE of us out of this dirt pit!!!
