- Upgrade from Office 2000 to 2007 - Outlook & Activesync
- Posted by Gerald Thauberger on June 28th, 2008
Hi Folks -
I recently upgraded my Office 2000 Premium to Office 2007 Enterprise. All seemed to go well in the upgrade. The new Outlook calls up my contact and calendar from the previous version just fine. The problem is that the PDA, using Activesync 4.5.0 will not talk to the new Outlook that came with Office 2007.
Any ideas as to how to get these two connected and talking again?
PS - I already ran this question through the outlook group, and they said it was an activesync issue, and to come here.
Thanks
Jerry

Hi,
After you install Office 2007 you need to reinstall ActiveSync in order for
it to reconfigure it for the new version of Outlook.
