Windows Mobile Device Center RTM?
Posted by Keith Nicholson on November 21st, 2006

Anyone know when we are going to get Windows Mobile Device Center? I've
installed Vista and OneNote 2007 and I'm just ready to get mobile again.

Best Wishes,
Keith

On my RTM WMDC didn't readily show its face ... Go to the search bar type in
"mobile" The WMDC program should be listed ... It seemed to activate after I
did that and is now available as a choice in the Control Panel ... I have yet
to get it to sync with OneNote I'm only able to sync media with the main
memory on my device (WMDC isn't recognizing my SD card)

Am very interested to see what you find once you get WMDC running

Mike,

I got it installed and running somewhat. I disabled TrendMicro for a while
and it did conntect and begin to synch but it did not last long before it
disconnected. I've tried over and over and I get about 300 contacts or 3 or
4 notes before it disconnects.

I have not tried OneNote yet.

I hope your experience is better than mine.

Cool!

I found a resource that I had to translate and found that if I set the
devices USB Switch to RNDIS it works now. Go to
Today-->Programs-->Accessory-->USBSwitch and make the change.

OneNote Mobile is sweet. I took my wife shopping today for the holidays and
had her point out items to me. I made notes and I was able to integrate
images quite easily. Then the real magic.....syncing back at home.

Best Wishes,
