My computer came with a Conexant SoftK56 DataFaxPCI modem. I was using
Winfax Basic edition 9.0 and Win98SE.
Things were working fine for months and then suddenly many incoming
voice calls triggered the fax program. Now all calls are doing it. I
haven't been able to correlate this with any changes I might have
made. I switched to QuickLink and ran into the same problem.
I would appreciate any ideas on what might have caused this, and how
it might be corrected; or references to pertinent help sources.
