A couple of days ago my cable internet has been so slow. Its been going

slower than a 56k. I called the cable company and the technician said
all the wires are fine and he doesnt know whats wrong. He said maybe
that since I download alot I have a slower broadband connection.

Can someone please help me. I cant stand waiting 5minutes for a webpage

to load.

I also tried installing my ethernet drivers again. Nothing changed.
Btw, I do not have any spyware or viruses so that cannot be the cause.

How about some particulars:

Which cable company do you have and in what area ?

What modem are you using ?

Do you have a router and what kind ?

What does your modem status page say about your connection power levels etc. ?

What method did you use to test your speed ? Did you run a speed test ?

You might want to try starting your computer in safe mode. You might have a
program that might be slowing down your computer.
