I'm in Fair Play (Anderson County side of the town) and wonder how to
contact someone "real" at Charter to find out just **when** they plan on
getting cable internet down as far as me?

No one I talk to at Charter seems to know anything.

There must be a **plan**, I mean, the guys don't just get in the trucks in
the morning and decide who to endow with cable internet over morning
coffee - right?

Well, no. They don't just decide. But the company probably doesn't want to
post a completion schedule to the public. Such a schedule can be delayed by
unforeseen difficulties; but the public can be downright unforgiving about
missed dates.
