- Courier 28.8 V.Everything modem

I have a modem loaned to my niece. She lives in another state in an
area that can not get broad band. Does any know if the 28.8K modem is
voice capable? I can remember that I flashed it to 33.3k but I think
that was the most I could upgrade it without paying 3Com for another
rom version.
I need a voice modem for caller ID and a computer answering machine.
If the old 33.3K will work I can get that modem back and buy her a new
56k one.

I don't think the modem was voice capable for caller ID and answering
machine software.
