- DHCP IPCOP Server not found by Win2k workstation
- Posted by James on November 28th, 2003
i am running 3 windows 2000 machines connecting to a mini-itx firewall
running ipcop, two of the 3 windows machines pick up the dhcp details
fine, however the third, my own, refuses too, at first i thought it
was the network card but this problem turned out to be mice chewing
through the cable in my loft, so i have recently bought a belkin
wireless desktop card 54g which connects to m belkin miniAP as does a
laptop running win 2k, but my windows machine still dosent pick up the
dhcp details from my linux server, is this a network problem or
windows (i suspect windows) please can you advise.
Many thanks in advance
James

This is how i currently have it working, however the machine is only
able to access the internet and not the other machines or my linux
file server which the others can, any ideas?
