hi guys

installed xp pro (twice) and my formally good working
supraexpress 56e v92 modem now keeps getting a huge amount of errors which
lags the modem to hell.
It sits there downloading then a error registers on dial up box then it
stops for 3 or 4 secs then resumes
again which lowers the speed to about 2.5 kbps where before on the same xp
pro it was laways 5.3 constant rate.
over a hour period i have about 200 errors!!!!!!

Any ideas as to why and how and yes i have reinstalled drivers a million
times over.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? That would be the first thing I
would try.

Can you post the error logs here?

Yeah, line conditions I'd reckon. Any other things connected to the line?
Don't know where you are, but if in Australia you can get Telstra to do a
line noise test.(& other tests) (& yes they do care about modem speeds in
Aussie.)
