I need Need help w/ my Intel(R) 537EP V9x DFV PCI Modem, can anyone help
w/ a init string to disable the V.92?
Are there any quick tips to speed one up from default settings?
My old modems in two other systems had solid 49333kbps connections w/
great throughput. This Dell came with this modem and I'm not finding
anything to tweak it up from a dismall 38-40kbps with terrible throughput.

provided the modem came with the PC. That Dell site is pretty good.

Thanks but unfornunity that didn't help the throughput or connect. I
have 2 other Gateways w/ full V.90 that both connect 49333. This modem
surely can provide better speed that its using now.
