Hello,

I have a Linksys BEFSR41 router running with an RCA cable modem. All was
well for many months and all of a sudden there was no connectivity.

I removed the power from both router and modem to re-sync them. The lights
appear to be working as usual but still no connectivity. However, everything
works perfectly when the modem is connected directly to the computer.

Does anyone know what I might try to get the router working again?

Try a hard reset. Hold the reset button in for a minute or so, and it
will reset to factory defaults. Plug everything back in (in the correct
sequence), and if you're not back online the router is toast.

Check your LAN settings, windows firewall setting if you use it, etc.
