Sorry - my last post might have been a bit inaccurate.

I have a friend who's using a new Webstar DPX2100 DOCSIS 2.0-compliant cable
modem, and we're having a problem - we can't get into the internals because
we don't know the default username and password to type into the prompt when
it comes up.

We've tried every possible combination of admin/1234, admin/admin, blank
username/admin, etc., but no luck.

I got no information when going to the Scientific Atlanta website.

Is there a factory default username and password for
Webstar DPX2100 modem internals that someone in here might know of? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. There's a lot of good information there about getting
to the internals of the Webstar DPX2100, but it seems like a pretty long and
involved process. There's no username and password available that would let
us into internals without all the fuss?
