- Posted by brano on December 8th, 2005
Hello there
I just installed a fresh Windows XP with SP2 on my computer. After
tryied to connect to internet, computer restarted itself. I have U.S
Robotics Fax External modem, with newest drivers on it. When I had Wi
with sp1, this error appeared some time, and after I remove modem fro
COM1 to COM2, it worked. Sometimes, when I tryed to reconnect to .ne
for a second time, it appers to be connected, but cannot do anything
but restart... But this isn't work now. Is it problem with driver
sp2, modem, or what. Please, help
Best regards
Bran

install the modem according to the instructions as far as when to run

This is likely a resource conflict that an only be resolved with
proper drivers that are correctly installed.
