- US Robotics 33600 sportster modem

Trying to get a US Robotics 33600 sportster internal ISA modem to work in
win98se.
Cannot get dial tone.
Tried everything I can think of.
Anyone got one of these working in win98se and care to share your settings.

If it is a Sportster and not a Winmodem, it is a hardware modem and should
work regardless of the operating system. First, determine if the modem is
set to PnP operation. This is, on USR internals, means no jumpers on the
Port and IRQ pins. .
If it is a Winmodem, you will need the installation files available at USR.
