- could not start the messenger service on local computer

Somehow the messenger service is stopped (was all right before) then i
try to restart the service and got the following message:

could not start the messenger service on local computer
error 126 specified module could not found
------------------------------------------------------
can anyone please help me for this issue? I am using window xp embeded
version.
