- At last! A computer that can run MSN messenger Live!
- Posted by John Jay Smith on February 10th, 2006
I wanted to run MSN messenger live...
so I went and got a dual core 4 GHz computer... because my older
2.6 GHz cpu was going at 90% with MSN messenger live.. so this will
give me just about enough cpu to run word and a browser along msn live...
Also I got 4 GB of ram, msn live loves ram.. again it will leave about 512
mb ram
free for windows and other apps...all the rest will be needed for mess live.
and a pair hard disks for the memory leak.. I thought 2 x 500GB was enough,
leaving one of them only for the windows page file... that msn live has some
nice leak gobbling up hard disk space! Now let it gobble this! HA!
Now I can do what a 486 @ 66 mhz, 8 mb ram could do with ICQ! Hurray!!!
