Hi all,
I have already read previous posts from other users but I am still unable
to figure out if this is a windows messenger server bug or a problem of
mine.
Some of my contacts have reported to have seen me offline while I was
online. I also tried, to no avail, to eliminate (and ask a contact to do
the same) and readd his name from the buddy list.
Still the problem *randomly* appears...
I did not ask this thing to all my contacts but the one I asked to did it
and he has the same problem (I randomly appear offline).
Can anyone help?
Windows Messenger 5.1.0701 on windows xp pro sp2 fully patched

Stefano

I am having the same issue with 7.5 build 0322. I realise its a widespread
issue, but why does it seem that microsoft are quiet in the issue?

well...it seems you're talking about Msn Messenger, not Windows
Messenger...so the problem is not related only to windows messengers
client/servers :-(

I have the same problem from last week with Msn 7.5, some of
my contacts can't see me online.
I tried this link suggested in an old post:
http://www.msngeeks.com/index.php?page=listrebuilder
but it didn't work!
So I have created another account that works fine untill now,
I'll use the new one forever or untill Microsoft fix this problem.

Greetings,
This is a widespread problem everywhere, re-installing, using list rebuilders etc, aren't
going to fix it.
