Purpose of MS messenger
Posted by Jonny on December 25th, 2005

Do not use any chat program ever.
Do not use any MS or otherwise remote assistance.
Do not send/authorize sending problem details to MS.
What other purpose is MS messenger/msmsgs.exe, as I intend to completely
remove it and associated entries in the registry?

If you don't do any of that there's no reason to hold on to it. Do you know
how to uninstall it properly? If you are going to remove it then it's
capable of being problematic.
