Hello

I had the exact same problem which suddenly appeared for no apparent
reason.

I managed to get rid of it by re-installing both MSN Messenger and
Windows Messenger.

Hope the same fix works for you as well.

Good Luck

I have uninstalled Msn Messenger, but I have not found a way to uninstall
windows messenger. I removed it from add/remove programs in the add/remove
windows components section, but it still runs.

I have the error when I open or close Outlook. I also experience the
same error when I close Windows Messenger.
