Somebody help me, Please!
I am a new user to windows XP. I have some computer skills, but am not
a geek by any strech of the imagination. I performed all the sugested
fixes for the no sound upon new mail notification in outlook express. I
did the registry thing and my registry key already says VALUE NOT SET.
"What now?"
I set all the necessary checks in the sounds file of the control panel.
I checked the allow sounds for new mail from the drop down in outlook
express.
I'm pulling what there is left of my hair out. My computer is about a
week old and has never played sound for new mail notification in
outlook express. Everything else appears to be ok. Oh, no, wait, I also
can't get the notification on the task bar that says, if or how many,
new mail messages have come in. Can anyone help me out here?
