Hi... I'm a network newbie...
I have an office situation with three computer areas in
a building. My modem can't be moved to a central area.
Would I use switches such that:
Modem ... Router ... Switch ... Switch

100 meters between switches and routers, and it doesn't "add" (unlike
unswitched hubs).
So, yes, if you keep inserting switches you can keep gaining another 100
meters...
