Connecting Two Wireless D-Link Routers, Wirelessly??
Posted by Patrick on February 6th, 2004

Is it possible to connect two wireless D-Link 614+ routers together
without cables (one serving as a wireless access point)?

I currently have a D-Link 614+ on the second floor of my house with
one desktop connected with ethernet, and one desktop and two laptops
connected wirelessly. I'd like to connect our X-box and ReplayTV unit
which are downstairs, but would like to avoid running any cables.
Plus, I would opt to spend $40 for an additional wireless router and
have the extra (future) networking connectivity rather than $120 for
two wireless bridges.

Anyone have any other solutions?

Thanks

You need a DWL-900 to do that

Thanks, Martin, but the 900 won't work. I have to be able to connect
at least two wired ethernet devices.
